A neighbor from Arrecife has requested citizen help to locate the possible owner of a female rabbit found last Friday, February 27, around 19:00 hours, at the confluence of Jacinto Borges and Andoriña streets, at the end of the road.
The animal was found under some trash containers, a situation that has generated concern given the possibility that it is an abandonment. “It's a little ball of fur with ears, very tender,” explains the person who found it, who highlights that it could be one of those pets acquired in a store and subsequently abandoned. However, the option that it may have gotten lost is also being considered.
The little one, who apparently is female, has already been baptized as “Conchita” by her rescuer. She is currently at the facilities of Sara Protectora de Animales, where she is being attended to while an attempt is made to locate her owners.
From the animal shelter and the neighbor himself, they make a call to the public to share the information and facilitate that, in case of having an owner, it can return to its home. Anyone who believes to be the owner or has information can get in touch with Sara Protectora de Animales.
