The reader assures that this "poses an evident risk for the vehicles that circulate through it, since it can cause damage to the suspension, shock absorbers or other mechanical parts"

A reader has contacted La Voz to denounce the poor condition of the access road to the Los Ajaches Natural Park. Specifically, the user criticizes the dirt road that leads to emblematic beaches of Lanzarote such as Playa de Papagayo or Playa Mujeres.

The citizen denounces that, despite the fact that "currently a fee of three euros per vehicle is charged to access this protected area, the state of the road is unacceptable because it is full of potholes, poorly maintained and poses an evident risk for the vehicles that circulate through it, since it can cause damage to the suspension, shock absorbers or other mechanical parts."

In addition, he points out that "it is contradictory that an entrance fee is charged for a non-existent service in terms of road maintenance."

On the other hand, he highlights that "the lack of bins is alarming, both on the beaches and in the upper part where the two beach bars are located. This is not only an inconvenience for visitors, but also represents an environmental risk in a protected natural space that should have a minimum infrastructure to preserve its ecological and tourist value."

"Considering that these beaches are a natural attraction of great value for their crystalline waters and their unique beauty, it is disappointing that the funds raised are not used to improve basic infrastructures, while the frequent holding of events and parties is allowed without prioritizing the care and sustainability of the environment," he continues.

Faced with these complaints, the reader asks that "the state of the access road be urgently reviewed and its improvement be carried out, that bins be installed in key points such as the beaches and the area of the beach bars and that the use of the access fee be justified and it is guaranteed that the funds are reinvested in the conservation and maintenance of the park."
