Several readers have contacted La Voz to denounce that many of the flights of the airline Binter Canarias have been suffering delays in recent months at the airports of the islands, a situation that is becoming more and more common.

These delays mean that passengers flying between islands arrive at their destinations up to an hour later or that the flight is canceled. In addition, there has also been the case of having to change tickets at the same boarding gate to travel with another flight number and another seat.

On its X account, Binter Canarias attributes most of the delays to "causes beyond the airline's control, specifically to air traffic congestion or air regulations"

In addition, the delays in flights have caused a two-hour delay in the holding of a trial scheduled for this Wednesday in Arrecife because the magistrates have not been able to arrive in Lanzarote on time.

Delays this Wednesday continue on flights between Gran Canaria and Tenerife with Lanzarote. As for the flights scheduled this morning from Gran Canaria, three flights are delayed by more than half an hour and one of them, the 10.45 am flight, has been canceled

With regard to flights from Tenerife, one of them has also suffered a delay of more than half an hour. However, delays are common on a daily basis on flights between islands. Some users denounce "delays of up to an hour on night flights, such as the 10:00 p.m. flight that takes off from Tenerife to Lanzarote".
