A kitesurf and wingfoil instructor has contacted La Voz to report the bad state of the dirt road access to El Papelillo beach, in Caleta de Famara.

After the abundant rains, the road has been very affected with protruding stones because the earth has been washed away by the water, which hinders the passage of vehicles.

"As a school, I have had to make a plan to have safety insurance for clients and I have had to mark the access route to indicate where the ambulance can enter, and I comply with all safety measures, but in recent years this path has become impassable", assures the reader. "A path must be guaranteed where an ambulance can arrive", he continues.

The poor condition of the road makes it impossible to drive safely, putting the vehicle at risk. "Sometimes I go twice a day, I already broke the car I had before and I'm on the verge of breaking this van I have now," he assures.

Therefore, asks the Teguise City Council to condition this access to an area where different athletes and water sports companies come to enjoy the good conditions that this place offers.
