Residents of Ancones have contacted La Voz to report the appearance of broken glass from Sands Beach, next to the sidewalks of Avenida Islas Canarias, in Costa Teguise.

The material from Sands Beach thrown by the field has raised concern among residents. Residents suspect it could be due to a renovation at the hotel and that the glass has not been taken to the Recycling Center due to the tax that companies must pay when disposing of waste.

According to one of the residents, from the Teguise Recycling Center, they believe that small companies are carrying out renovations and are illegally disposing of waste, posing as individuals to avoid taxes for disposing of waste in these designated areas.

For the moment, a complaint has already been filed with SEPRONA, the Nature Protection Service.
