A resident in the area of the Simón Bolívar Park in Arrecife has contacted La Voz to report a situation that he claims to suffer every weekend. According to him, a group of people gathers in this space "to listen to soccer, drink and smoke" shouting without letting the neighbors rest. In addition, he affirms that they leave the park "full of garbage" and, as proof of this, he sends some photographs.
"The other day, I think it was Saturday, one of them took garbage from the container and spread it all over the park. And at night, one came with a shovel and took rofe from the gardens and threw it in a puddle that accumulates there," says this neighbor, who says that the Local Police have been called many times, but the situation continues.
"Before it was daily and now they come on weekends and set up their parties there," says this resident, tired of suffering this situation every week.
