A reader has contacted La Voz to report that, due to the International Marathon this Saturday in Arrecife, he and other citizens could not enter or leave the Port of Arrecife with their vehicles.
The reason was the closure of the entrance and exit of La Marina for a sporting event, which did not take into account the people who were in the shops in this area or the tourists from the cruises. In fact, the buses that transported them were trapped for more than an hour.
The citizen assures that "they left them locked up because they would not let them leave through Arrecife or through the Fishing School area because they had both exits closed and they were unable to move for an hour".
"This plan is more about insecurity than security because they collapsed hundreds of cars with the danger of something happening to a person and not being able to enter or leave", he continues.
