Dozens of seagulls in the Charco de San Ginés

Hundreds of seagulls have landed in the water of the Charco de San Ginés, leaving a curious image. A reader has recorded the moment after being amazed by what their eyes were seeing. "I had never seen anything like it", he told La Voz.

An impressive image that was captured this Tuesday by a citizen who was walking through the area and was surprised by the number of seagulls that all together wanted to make a stop to cool off in the Charco.

The Archipelago is suffering this week from a new heat wave. So much so that the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has established yellow warnings for high temperatures in Tinajo and Tías, an orange warning in Yaiza and a red warning in San Bartolomé that will last until this Wednesday, October 11.

In addition, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) emphasizes that from September 29 to October 8, all days have been a warm record for their date, something unprecedented in Spain since at least the 70s in any warm episode.
