A resident of Los Ancones has contacted La Voz to denounce the type of materials being used by the Teguise City Council to clean up the dirt road that provides access to the town.
According to him, this material has been being dumped since last week, but "it's worse because **it's full of stones, dust, and volcanic ash**, and it doesn't last at all because the wind carries it away and the road is left full of stones." He also says that they are **spreading it through the town** as wellHe also criticizes that, due to the poor condition of the road, "taxis refuse to go up to the town, the postal service doesn't send its mail carriers, **public transport doesn't arrive, and fiber optic is not installed either**, even though all the pipes are already buried"."Where is our tax money? It's a disgrace... they don't pave the town and there are no green areas or street lighting," he states angrily. Likewise, he demands that "the bathing area and its access for the elderly and people with reduced mobility be fixed, as the Government of the Canary Islands already promised.""It's a shame... and let's not forget that a five-star hotel is being built 500 meters away... but they're allowed to, right?" the neighbor concludes, annoyed.
