Water cuts continue to mark the daily lives of many residents of Lanzarote. This January 6th, Three Kings' Day, the town of Güime woke up without supply, forcing its residents to spend the day without a basic resource like water.

A resident has expressed her displeasure to La Voz about a situation that, she assures, has been recurring for years without a definitive solution being adopted. "Once again, the residents of the island's towns are the most affected by Canal Gestión's water cuts," she denounces.

According to him, while residential areas like Güime suffer constant interruptions, tourist areas maintain an unrestricted supply. "It's incomprehensible that on an island that boasts of being first-world we continue to live this situation, while in tourist areas they know no limits to spending," he lamentsThe complainant emphasizes that the water outages completely condition the daily lives of families. "Every week we live planning when to put on a washing machine, when to clean the terrace, or even when to wash ourselves. Our entire day revolves around the water cuts," she states, visibly tired. The neighbor concludes with a call to the administrations and the managing company to put an end to a chronic problem. **"Enough is enough. They should solve this once and for all,"** she demands, reflecting the sentiment of many residents who see water outages becoming normalized without effective responses.
