A reader has contacted La Voz to criticize that a section of Playa Bastián can no longer be used to take dogs out and thus find a meeting point in Costa Teguise.
According to the neighbor, this space for animals "has a social function because people meet each other earlier, loneliness is dissipated and services are provided to each other."
"In principle, everything was going well since it is a piece of the beach that is not used for people to swim but someone has reported it for noise pollution and the Police have acted accordingly," the woman says. "The result of this situation is that people withdraw again and valuable mutual contacts are broken," she says.
The woman asks, on behalf of those affected, to "find a solution to resume services by both parties. It cannot be the case that an entire group is affected by a complaint and that social cooperation becomes impossible," she concludes.
