Complaints about the "scarce" traffic surveillance in Arrecife: "It is the lawless city"

A citizen has contacted La Voz to complain about the "scarce traffic surveillance in Arrecife", which he considers to be "the city without law".

"You only have to stop for a while at any point on the streets and avenues of Arrecife and in a few minutes there will be many drivers of vehicles passing without a seat belt, using their cell phone or manipulating it to write a WhatsApp", he points out

However, despite being "actions that clearly endanger the life and integrity of people who use the streets", he states that "the most outstanding thing" is the "level of impunity" that exists, "possibly motivated by the scarce presence of members of the Local Police of that town".

Therefore, he urges "that traffic surveillance in Arrecife be activated more forcefully, that the police presence be evident and in this way try to avoid serious distractions while driving".

Likewise, this citizen believes that "it would be necessary to start giving importance to the number of abandoned cars that there are in Arrecife, which are unsightly and can seriously contaminate the area".
