A reader has contacted La Voz to report the poor condition of the dog park located in the Arrecife Theme Park. As you may recall, the stage for the San Ginés festivities was installed in this area, which forced the dismantling of the skatepark and also affected this area dedicated to animals.

The citizen criticizes the presence of fences, and before that, lampposts that were removed to put up the stage, in the park. "Even though the festivities were in August, this has been like this since they started preparing in July," she says.

"Now the lampposts have been installed, but the rusty fences and boxes that were used for something related to the stage are still there," she continues.

Likewise, the reader emphasizes "the lack of maintenance and disinterest in the safety of the animals because they use the space as a storage area instead of renting a warehouse or taking it to a place where it is not a risk to other animals and people."

Furthermore, she points out that "they don't maintain the trees either, they are without irrigation and many have dried up and broken, and they are still on the ground. The trees were not cut down and fell under their own weight. I don't want to imagine what would have happened if one of us or one of our dogs had been underneath."

Finally, he also emphasizes "the amount of garbage that flies around and gets stuck inside the park."
