A reader has contacted La Voz to report the water cuts she is constantly suffering in the Valterra neighborhood, in Arrecife. The woman says that this week she has already spent "almost three days without supply" and with barely "a trickle of water nothing more".
"I call Canal Gestión and they tell me that they have already passed on the information but that they don't know anything, and you call again and they tell you that many people are calling and the answer is to see if they tell them something, but then I don't understand what they are there for", criticizes the neighbor.
When calling the company at the beginning of the week, she was informed that the breakdown had been caused by a fault in the electrical network and that she would have water that same afternoon. However, she has been without supply for more than three days.
Therefore, this woman and her family have had to buy bottles of water to be able to wash and do household chores, all with three young children in her care. "You call, call and call and they don't solve it and let's see who is going to pay me for the amount of bottles I'm buying because each one costs a euro and something and I spend four or five every day", she declares.
"What are these people doing? These cuts happen every other day, it's a disgrace", the neighbor sentences.
