A resident of Costa Teguise has reported the lack of Local Police officers in the municipality. The complainant explains that one night he heard "shouting and a loud noise" coming from a party in a neighboring house.

The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. and the resident points out that what started "with whistles and party blowers, ended with the bursting of a woofer (bass speaker) and very loud shouts." Unable to sleep, he contacted the Local Police but the call was automatically forwarded to 112, who informed him that they did not have local police available in the area.

"It was crazy, the street dogs were going wild," the reader comments. When calling the Local Police to have a patrol car come to the scene and ask the partygoers to turn down the volume, a 112 worker answered the phone, who informed him that they did not have "anyone from the Local Police available" that day.

The Costa Teguise resident explains that 112 offered him the option of informing the Civil Guard, although it was outside their jurisdiction. The complainant says that, after a while, the noise in the party house had stopped. "I don't know if the Civil Guard showed up in the end," he concludes.
