Last Friday, April 28, we were able to enjoy a new edition of the IES Yaiza Triathlon under the motto Without Limits and in homage to the teacher and colleague José Luis Yagüe Pérez (first director of the host center).
The event had the participation of about 750 students and teachers from sixteen secondary schools on the island of Lanzarote and one from Fuerteventura, offering the attending public a great show that stood out for the generous effort and solidarity of its participants. A test that shines brighter and brighter in the sports calendar of the islands, especially in the school environment, as it is one of the most relevant extracurricular activities that take place in the Canary Islands and that in this edition, as a great novelty, was carried out thanks to the generous co-organization of the Yaiza City Council through Deportes Yaiza Municipio Activo and the Island Council of Lanzarote through the Insular Sports Service.
