The Xtreme Up dance school premiered its new stage production “Desde Dentro” on June 13, a dance show that invites us to look inward and connect with the deepest human emotions.
The proposal, created to convey a journey from birth to self-acceptance, managed to win over the audience through movement, music, and a staging full of sensitivity, energy, and emotion.
Tickets for the premiere sold out quickly, demonstrating the great reception and anticipation generated by this new creation from the school.
“Desde Dentro” explores different stages of life, transforming each experience into dance: light and darkness, fear and strength, the search and personal discovery. A story where each movement represents what we live, feel, and keep inside.
After its premiere, the work received very positive comments from the public, who highlighted the show's ability to evoke emotion and create a direct connection with those who enjoyed it.
Its directors, Hacomar Arrocha and Jennifer Ángel, wanted to especially thank the commitment and enormous work carried out by all the students of Xtreme Up, a fundamental piece in making this project a reality.
They also extended their gratitude to all attendees and family members for supporting dance and accompanying this artistic endeavor, as well as to the Cabildo de Lanzarote for its support and collaboration with culture and the performing arts.
With “Desde Dentro,” Xtreme Up reaffirms its commitment to a dance that "is not only observed, but also felt, creating experiences where art becomes a language capable of uniting stories and emotions."
