The High Performance Center of San Cugat has been the setting for the eighth men's artistic swimming camp, an event that has stood out for its intensity and the presence of prominent swimmers and coaches. Representing the Club Deportivo Pingüinos of Arrecife, the selected swimmers Miguel Martínez and Eduardo Curbelo, together with the coach Alessandra Mauri, have been an integral part of this important event.
Miguel Martínez, with his eighth consecutive participation, and Eduardo Curbelo, in his fourth appearance, have had the opportunity to train under the supervision of the entire technical team of Spanish artistic swimming and several national and international coaches. During three intense days, the athletes have participated in multidisciplinary training sessions that combined physical exercises, choreographies, acrobatics and jumps, thus reinforcing their preparation and skills.
In addition to the 15 Spanish selected, the event was attended by the best artistic swimmers in the world, who participated in several stages with our selected athletes. This international collaboration has been a great motivation and an important boost in the quality of training.
The participation of Miguel Martínez and Eduardo Curbelo, together with the guidance of Alessandra Mauri, demonstrates the commitment of the Club Deportivo Pingüinos of Arrecife to excellence in artistic swimming.
The artistic swimming team expresses its gratitude to the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife for the transfer of its spaces for training, to the private companies that support the different activities, to the Cabildo de Lanzarote and to the Department of Sports of the Arrecife City Council for their continuous help and support, which allow us to continue growing and developing this wonderful sport.
