The brothers Conor Donegan and Dyland Donegan, originally from Teguise, have won the Fersurfing Junior Series held during Easter week in Tapia de Casariego, Asturias. Conor in the Sub 18 category and Dyland in the Sub 16.
For these young people it was the first stop of their regular season, since after the first test in Andalusia, in the wave of La Yerbabuena, the circuits arrived in Asturias. The promises of national surfing once again showed all their talent throughout the four days in which the competition was held. In some previous rounds where tactical decisions made the difference, the surfers kept up with their best surfing.
In the Fesurfing Júnior Series, the victories were taken by: in the sub 16 category Dylan Donegan and Daniela Alonso, in sub 18 Conor Donegan and Ibone Gómez and in the sub 21 category Néstor García and Daniela Boldini.
From the federation they wanted to convey that both "are doing an enormous job with excellent results". As professional athletes who "compete at an insular, national, European and international level", they add. In addition, they recognize "their effort and great work", so they want to "give them visibility", they share.
