Third position for the RCNA men's triathlon team

In the club classification, the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife achieved third place in the men's category with a total of 98 points

The Canary Islands Triathlon Federation (FECANTRI) awarded the winners of the Canary Islands Talent Series 2024 last weekend, a competition aimed at training categories, who enjoyed four events in the archipelago last season. The triathlon school of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife played a prominent role, highlighting the third place of the men's team in the club classification.

The Juan Ramón Jiménez theater in Telde, Gran Canaria, hosted the FECANTRI triathlon gala last Saturday. An event that served to reward the best classified in the Canary Islands Talent Series 2024, whose calendar included the Salinetas Triathlon, the RCNA – City of Arrecife Triathlon, and the Mesa del Mar and Agaete Aquathlons.

In the club classification, the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife achieved third place in the men's category with a total of 98 points, only surpassed by Chamo Díaz (157) and Club Triator (110). The women's team finished the competition in seventh position, and globally, the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife was the fifth best club in the Canary Islands.

In the children's category, Martina Balea Curbelo was fourth classified, and was on the verge of the podium after not being able to participate in the Agaete Aquathlon. Cristina Benítez de la Cruz, Vega Martín Ruiz, María García Rodríguez and Claudia Rodríguez Pérez, were also regulars in the different events. And in the men's category, Pau Sánchez Bailina and Alejandro Sham Sajnani, finished in sixth and seventh position, respectively.

As for the men's cadet category, the fifth place of Hugo Acuña Rodríguez and the sixth position of Joel Izán Concepción Lemes, were the most outstanding results in the Canary Islands Triathlon Talent Series. Tarek Larrotcha Arco, Knut Anderssen Miranda and Diego Delgado Cerda, also participated in the different events.
