As in each edition, local folklore opened the awards ceremony of the 'VII Arrecife to Agadir Regatta', which was held with "almost two hundred participants" organized by the 'Yacht Club DÁgadir'. The top three finishers in the general classification were awarded, led by Felipe Brito's 'Salitre' (RCN Arrecife), followed by Aureliano Negrín's 'Muyay' (RCNA) and Felipe del Rosario's 'Felipeva VI' (RCN Gran Canaria). The same boats and in the same order received the prizes for the ORC 1-2 class.

Rogue Wave by José Ignacio Cantero (RCNGC), 'Altamar 1' by Francisco Curbelo (RCNA) and 'Lanzarote Sailing Paradise' by Ye Cabrera (RCNA) were the top three in the ORC 4 class. In the 'Open' class, the first and second place prizes were awarded to 'Duende' by Francisco Javier González (Lanzarote) and 'Atlantis III' by Gregorio Bienes (Tazacorte).

The organizing clubs exchanged souvenirs of the 'VII Arrecife to Agadir Regatta', which were collected and presented to Mercedes López Socas, vice president of the RCNA, and Carlos Cañibano, director of the same Club, on the local side by the president of the Yacht Club D´Agadir, Ahmed Benouadden. In addition, the first authorities of Agadir attended the event, including the deputy mayor Abdallah Boulghmair and the consul of Spain in Agadir, Víctor Franco García, who spoke with the crews and organizers.

Each participating boat received a souvenir of their participation in this seventh edition, which the skippers of each of the boats collected. At the end of the event, the Yacht Club D´Agadir presented the RCNA organizing team, represented by Antonio Cabrera, Luis Ley and Jesús Lasso, with a detail to each of them in "gratitude for the work done".

After the awards and distinctions ceremony, a dinner was offered with the culinary art and hospitality that is always the norm in Agadir for the participants. Mercedes López Socas was in charge of thanking the "existing collaboration" between the clubs, thanking once again the "treatment received" during the stay in Agadir, congratulating all the
participants who "endured a tough journey" from Arrecife.
