The Unión Norte Wrestling Club of Haría has closed a promotion agreement with the Canary Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy. In the next wrestling posters, a personalized illustration will be included that says "Donate Blood" and in which an orange-colored drop of blood appears.
"We had been trying to collaborate with the promotion and training of new blood donors for some time. We have finally achieved it. Our greatest wish is that no Canary Islander loses their life due to a shortage in blood banks", the Unión Norte Wrestling Club of Haría has stated on its Facebook page.
The vice president of the Unión Norte Wrestling Club of Haría, Aduén Morales, explains that the entity feels "very proud to continue collaborating with all levels of society, beyond the wrestling fields" and adds that, with this action, "it is demonstrated once again that Canarian wrestling is much more than a sport."
Therefore, they ask citizens to "donate life expectancy" by donating life with each blood donation.
