The Spartvn Mma Academy managed to win nine medals in the Canary Islands BJJ & Grappling Circuit held this weekend in the islands. The athletes of the Lanzarote team achieved the following classification:
Yassin kacha García: U11 white 38kg champion.
Yerover Robledillo Montolio: U13 white/gray 38kg champion.
Alejandro Flores Baulde: U15 yellow 51kg runner-up.
Sofía Durán: U17 white 59 kg champion.
Abián Hernández Noda: U17 white 67 kg runner-up.
Alejandro Méndez: Adult white 56 kg champion.
Kilian Moreno Santana: Adult white 80 kg runner-up.
Kevin Murillo Reyes: Adult white 86 kg.
Diogo chança and Sami Harchaoui also participated giving good fights but failed to qualify. In addition, on June 6 they will compete in the Mma Spain championship in Madrid to which Jorge Pérez Pérez U20 61 kg will attend representing the Canary Islands.
Also, on June 21 in Seville the Spain Grappling Gi & NO GI Cup will be held and Espartvn Mma Academy will also bring 10 fighters representing the Canary Islands, and on July 12 in Lanzarote, Spartvn will have five Mma fighters in the KLF evening. All this has been possible thanks to the coach Xavier Flores Barros and the president of the club, Orlando Robayna.
