The Real Club Náutico de Arrecife celebrates this Friday, July 3, the conference Juan Sebastián Elcano, Ambassador and Navigator, an event that will bring to the public the history, mission, and international projection of one of the most representative ships of the Spanish Navy.
The conference will be given by Rear Admiral Santiago de Colsa Trueba, who will offer a presentation focused on the role that the Juan Sebastián de Elcano plays
as an ambassador of Spain in the seas of the world and on the values it represents as a symbol of Spanish maritime tradition.
The event will take place at 7:40 PM in the Salón César Manrique of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife and admission will be free until full capacity.
With this initiative, the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife continues to promote cultural and educational activities related to the maritime field, bringing to members and the public
in general proposals that contribute to disseminating knowledge of navigation and institutions related to the sea.
The conference will allow attendees to learn firsthand about the trajectory of the Juan Sebastián de Elcano, as well as the mission it carries out during its voyages and the
relevance it has acquired as one of Spain's main representatives internationally.
