The Marlines club proclaims itself triple champion of the III Spanish Cup of sea kayak

The paddlers of the Lanzarote club won 42 medals, distributed in 12 golds, 17 silvers, and 13 bronzes, being one of the most decorated clubs in the entire competition.

The Marlines de Lanzarote Canoe Club once again demonstrated its enormous potential this weekend in Vigo, where the III Spanish Sea Kayak Cup, the third scoring event of the National League 2026, was held.

The Lanzarote team put in an outstanding performance, becoming triple champions of the competition, winning in all three club general classifications: Sea Kayak League, Young Promises League, and Master League, thus confirming their status as a national benchmark in this discipline.

In the absolute classification, Marlines took victory after accumulating 4,166 points, ahead of the Club Amigos del Piragüismo de Canarias (3,371) and the Club Kayak Vigo (1,737).

In the Young Promises League, they once again dominated with authority, reaching 1,302 points, once again surpassing the Club Amigos del Piragüismo de Canarias (688) and the Club Kayak Vigo (465).

The clean sweep was completed with the triumph in the Master League, where the Lanzarote club once again climbed to the top of the podium with 1,645 points, ahead of the Club de Mar de Mallorca (1,213) and the Club Actividades Náuticas Eslora (992).

On a sporting level, the paddlers from the Marlines de Lanzarote Canoe Club won 42 medals, comprising 12 golds, 17 silvers, and 13 bronzes, making them one of the most decorated clubs in the entire competition.

This extraordinary result allows the Club Piragüismo Marlines de Lanzarote to consolidate its leadership in the three national sea kayak leagues and take a very important step in the fight for the national titles of the 2026 season.

This success is a reflection of the daily work of our athletes, coaches, families, and collaborators. The 42 medals achieved show that our sports project continues to grow and that we are capable of competing at the highest level in all categories."
