The Marlines de Lanzarote Canoeing Club has returned to its native island with an impressive haul of medals after its brilliant performance in the II Spain Kayak de Mar Cup and the II Kayak de Mar Cup for Young Promises. The team has been crowned champion in the Spain Cup and runner-up in the Young Promises Cup, with a total of 28 medals, including 9 golds, 7 silvers and 12 bronzes.
The competition took place on the Platja del Miracle in Tarragona, where the Lanzarote team competed against more than 420 paddlers from 40 clubs from all over Spain. Despite the heat and lack of wind, the Marlines demonstrated their skill and determination to achieve one of the best results in the club's history in the national competition.

With this impressive achievement, the Marlines have secured a prominent position in the different National Leagues, and eagerly await the results of the III Spain Cup in Candás in July and the Spain Championship in Denia in September.
But before that, the team will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent at home, as the Marlines will organize the Canary Islands Championship on May 27 at the Islote de la Fermina. This event will be the next stop for the team, who will seek to continue their success and demonstrate their skill in the waters they know so well, the Marlines report.
