The final of the XI edition of the DISA Pilots DISA Copi Sport 2026 Program, held this Sunday, January 25, at the Gran Karting Club in Bahía Feliz, put the finishing touch on the XI Motor Festival, an event that once again confirmed the success of this initiative by breaking its historical participation record. After overcoming all phases of the selection process, José Manuel de León Viñoly was proclaimed the winner, thus becoming the official DISA Copi Sport driver for the 2026 season.
A spectacular achievement that comes after overcoming a demanding selection process in which more than 1,200 applicants participated and which tested technical skills, track dexterity, competition knowledge, and personal capacity.
José Manuel de León Viñoly, a native of the island of Lanzarote, is 32 years old and works as a self-employed mechanic. He has experience in motorsport, with a six-year racing career at the wheel of a Citroën Saxo. He has also participated in motorcycle events. Now, an opportunity has arisen for him to drive the Ford Fiesta Rally4 for the DISA Copi Sport team for the current 2026 season, competing in the Canary Islands Asphalt Rally Championship.A new stage begins for José Manuel de León, who will be tested at the wheel of the Ford Fiesta Rally4, representing DISA Copi Sport in the upcoming season and continuing one of the most outstanding driver training and promotion projects in regional motorsport.
