The Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Club, represented by 18 gymnasts, won two gold medals in the “Gymnastique Magnifique”, an international competition that brought together teams from all over the European continent held in Disneyland Park in Paris during the past weekend.
In addition to the two gold medals, the expedition was also awarded by the organization with the special recognition for the costumes and choreography.
To top it off, the Lanzarote club was also selected by the choreographer and the Disney casting team to open the parade of the magical parade held on the main street of the park.
Without a doubt, it is a dream weekend for the young athletes from Lanzarote who, as the gymnastics team pointed out on their social networks, lived a "unique and unparalleled experience”.
