The Haría City Council presented this weekend the second edition of the Haría Music Run Night, a sporting event that promises more light and color. The mayor Alfredo Villalba; the Minister of Sports of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Juan Monzón; and the Councilor for Sports of Haría, Alberto de León, announced the details of this expected night race, which already has 350 registered runners and will take place on La Garita beach, Arrieta.

The mayor Alfredo Villalba stressed the strategy of the Haría City Council to "promote sports and boost the local economy", inviting the population to participate in the race and enjoy the after-party, which features performances by the RikaBanda orchestra and Swing del Norte. Villalba also highlighted the inclusive nature of the event, which will be the first in Lanzarote to have a diverse category for people with disabilities, who will also not have to pay the registration fee.

The Minister of Sports of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Juan Monzón, highlighted the importance of popular sporting events, "for non-professional sports among citizens".
During the presentation, the Councilor for Sports of Haría, Alberto de León, highlighted the novelties of this edition. The program will start at 6:00 p.m., on La Garita Beach, with a zumba class by Fernando Petit, followed by a parade, with the Guaychara batucada. From 9:30 p.m., the three scheduled starts of the race will take place.

The three public representatives invited the community of Lanzarote to register as soon as possible, as there are few places available. Registrations can be made until Wednesday, August 7, on the web tripasioneventos.com.
