The father of the young man accused of a violent episode by UD warns with taking legal actions

The father of the young man from Peña Trifulka whom UD Lanzarote accused of going to the workplace of the club's director, Juan Carlos Albuixech, "with clear intentions of attacking him" has warned that he will take legal action.

"As the father of a minor, I will not tolerate this man continuing to talk about an incident that never happened, because, although he never names my son (we would be in front of a judge at this moment), my son knows that he is referring to him and is very affected," says this father, who denies the accusations made by UD Lanzarote.

In this regard, he expresses his "strong rejection" of the "use" of his son by Albuixech "for his interests or his stories with Peña Trifulka". "I think the least he could do is offer a public apology,"

"At no time was he shirtless and with clear intentions of attacking him"

According to a statement, his son "was with his friends playing basketball on the court of Juan Carlos Albuixech's establishment" and, upon entering "to buy a bottle of water at the bar", he saw the director of UD Lanzarote "talking on the phone". "He recognizes him and when he finishes talking on the phone he goes to talk to him," says this father, who however states that "at no time" was his son "shirtless" and that "in no way with clear intentions of attacking him".

"It was a friendly two-hour conversation, in which they discussed the issue of UD with Peña Trifulka as well as various topics of all kinds, always with the utmost respect on both sides", adds this man, who assures that "at no time" did anyone have to appease his son and that he explicitly told Albuixech that he was in no way sent by Peña Trifulka". "Even Mr. Juan Carlos Albuixeck told my son, in his exact words, that he was honored to have him come to talk to him".

The young man's father points out that there was such "good vibes" in his son's words that the director of UD Lanzarote "ended up leaving him his mobile phone" so that "he could call his friends, who had stayed with his phone, because two hours had passed and they had already left the court". "And in the end my son ended up giving his phone number to Mr. Albuixech," details this man, who says that when he went to pick up the minor he was "delighted" and told him "the whole conversation".

He defends the "atmosphere" of Peña Trifulka

This father acknowledges that, as he told his son, "it was not the time or place to talk" and that "it is normal that he might have felt intimidated at first", but he defends that his son "is 17 years old, he is a boy with a lot of concerns, committed and who has the virtue of always seeing the good side of people".

"Both his mother and I have taught him to respect, to tolerate and to talk and be informed. He is an outstanding boy in his community, very affectionate and loved and respected by everyone who knows him," adds the young man's father, who believes that "it is absolutely impossible" for his son "to approach with clear intentions of attacking him".

Likewise, this father states that his son has belonged to Peña Trifulka "for less than a year" and that if he "had seen that it is a violent or strange group", "he certainly would not be with them". "It's quite the opposite, my son loves the atmosphere, the mix of 'foreigners and locals' in the group as he says," he says.

"I will be happy to clarify everything in front of a judge if necessary"

Finally, the young man's father speaks about some statements that he says have been made from UD Lanzarote, from where he says they stated that, although they "did not" believe he was related, "the next day there were acts of vandalism on one of the terraces"

"This is directly a very serious insinuation, so if he continues down this path or names or mentions my son, I will be the one to take the appropriate legal action, and I will be happy to clarify everything in front of a judge if necessary," he concludes.
