With nothing at stake for CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife and with Elda Prestigio fighting to escape the play-down zone, the match of the twenty-fourth round of the Liga Guerreras Iberdrola took place on Sunday midday. The team from Lanzarote encountered a fierce defense from the Alicante team from the start of the match, having many problems to beat the goal defended by Meriem Ezbida.
Elda Prestigio set a high pace for its game from the start of the match, scoring the first two goals in actions by wingers Paula Lluch and Rafaela Gonçalvez. Elda Prestigio managed its advantage to take to Alicante the two points that were at stake.
