The CDN Nadamas Santa Rosa completed a notable participation in the XLVII Spanish Summer Children's Swimming Championship. The competition took place between July 16 and 19 at the facilities of the Club Natación Metropole, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. At the end of the tournament, it ranked among the top ten clubs in Spain, managing to be the first club in the Canary Islands.

The Costa Teguise club was made up of swimmers Nicolás Padrón, Erik Suárez, Diego Vázquez, and Juan José Ramos, accompanied by coach Ricardo Senra.

The standout performer in this competition was Diego Vázquez, who managed to win 4 medals. He was proclaimed champion of Spain after winning gold in the 100 meters freestyle. He also won two silvers in the 50 meters freestyle and the 50 meters butterfly. He won bronze in the 100 meters butterfly category.

Being proclaimed champion was not his only achievement; he also managed to set a new Canary Islands record (52.53), falling just 30 hundredths of a second short of the national record.

In the team events, they were just short of reaching the podium, finishing in fourth place by a few hundredths of a second.

Coach Ricardo Senra expressed his satisfaction with his athletes' effort: "It's one of the best championships we've had. Very happy."
