The TAZ Lanzarote Club has experienced weeks of extraordinary sporting results after its participation in the Spanish Grappling Cup and the United World Wrestling (UWW) European Grappling Cup, achieving an overall balance of 29 gold medals, 9 silver, and 7 bronze, a success that confirms the excellent moment the entity is going through.
In the Spanish Grappling Cup, the club's athletes delivered an outstanding performance, returning to Lanzarote with an impressive haul of 21 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. A result that reflects the daily work carried out in training, as well as the commitment, discipline, and consistency that characterize all members of the team.
The club wished to highlight the exemplary behavior of its athletes throughout the competition, as well as the collective effort behind each achievement obtained. Each medal represents the joint work of athletes, coaches, families, and collaborators who contribute to the constant growth of the sporting project.
On the other hand, the international participation in the UWW European Grappling Cup, held in Poland, once again demonstrated the high competitive level of the Lanzarote athletes. Representing Spain against some of the best athletes on the continent, the members of TAZ Lanzarote achieved a remarkable balance of 8 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals.
The results obtained in this European event are a reflection of the effort, dedication, and sacrifice accumulated throughout the season, allowing the club's athletes to continue competing at the highest international level and carrying the name of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands to the pinnacle of the sporting scene.
