Miguel Ángel Morales and Alejandro Martín in the under 19 male category and Gabriela Cañibano and Ariane Muñoz in the female under 17, sailors of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, climbed the podium of the Spanish Sailing Cup in the 420 class, which was held in the waters of the Ría de Arousa, in Pontevedra.
Morales and Martín finished third in the male under 19 and fourth in the absolute general, winning the bronze in their category. In addition, they had already been second in the past Spanish Championship.
The crew formed by Gabriela Cañibano and Ariane Muñoz, improved their participation in the Spanish Championship in which they were third. Now, they received the silver on the second drawer of the female under 17 podium in the Spanish Cup.
The titles of the Spanish Cup in the different categories were in the absolute for Sebastián Riquelme and Miquel Pérez (Club Náutic El Balís) from Barcelona, Paula Laiseca and Isabel Laiseca (RCN Gran Canaria). In under 19, Jaime Ayarza and Mariano Hernández (RCN Gran Canaria), María Perelló and Marta Cardona (CN s´Arenal) from Mallorca.
Miguel Padrón and Luis Mesa (RCN Gran Canaria) and Natalia Domínguez and Inés Ameneiro (RCN Sanxenxo – RCN Vigo) from Galicia, won the titles in the under 17 category.
