This Saturday, the seventeenth edition of the Candelaria Rally Sprint was held with great success, an event that has been organized by the Lanzarote Racing Team and supported by the Las Palmas Automobile Federation (FALP), the Lanzarote Council, the Tías City Council and the San Bartolomé City Council.
The competition, which brought together numerous fans and motor enthusiasts such as Óscar Cabrera and Aitor Cambeiro (20:05.2), who took the victory in the general classification, demonstrating exceptional synchronicity and skill throughout the entire route. Álvaro Caballero and Noe González (20:28.3), and Rayco Rodríguez together with Cristopher Rijo (20:32.7), completed the podium, occupying second and third place respectively, after outstanding performances that maintained tension and enthusiasm until the last moment.
In the classifications by category and group, the results revealed the high level and competitiveness of the participants. In Category 3, Acoidan Silva and Marítima Pérez took first place, while in Category 2, Aníbal Machín and Marlene Parrilla were on the general podium until the penultimate stage, but a spin left them out of the fight, finally achieving victory in their category. Among the groups, Alfredo Guerra and Lara Curbelo stood out in Rally 4, Jonás Rodríguez and Diego Cabrera in category F, and Adian Pérez together with Samuel Saavedra prevailed in Pre 90, among other notable winners.
The teams belonging to the Lanzarote Racing Team also had an outstanding performance, with Héctor Macias and Juan Escalona leading the classification, closely followed by Agoney Díaz and Aitami Díaz, and Jordan Aguiar together with Achen Perdono, who demonstrated the talent and passion for motorsport that characterizes the island.
The Candelaria Rally Sprint was not only a stage for high-level competition, but also a motor festival that allowed strengthening ties between fans, drivers, and organizers, contributing to the promotion of motorsport in Lanzarote.
