Nearly 500 people between runners and walkers took part in the start of the second edition of the 'Fisiosan' solidarity race this Sunday on Playa Honda Avenue, with the start and finish in Guacimeta, which included the celebration of a children's race, a walk, and an adult race.
Dani Guerra Gutiérrez from the VG club was the fastest to complete the race with a time of 19:06. He was joined on the men's podium by José Manuel González Hernández, who finished second, taking four seconds more than the winner, and Roberto Carlos Hernández Delgado, from CD Latitud 29o, who occupied the third step of the podium after reaching the finish line in 19:29 seconds.
In the women's category, the winner was Yadira Pérez Jiménez, who finished the race in 21:46. In second place was María Yisel González González, with a time of 22:41, followed by Raquel Salvador Duarte, who took 23:16 to complete the race on the Playa Honda promenade. One hundred and eighty-five runners finished the 'Fisiosan Inclusiva 2023' despite the prevailing heat, reaching almost thirty degrees Celsius at the time of the sporting event.
The Councilor for Sports, Alexis Jesús Hernández, wanted to "congratulate the participants in this morning's event in Playa Honda and the organizers for their sensitivity in planning it annually, adapting it to all people who wanted to participate," concludes the Councilor for Sports.
