The “Muyay”, skippered by Aureliano Negrín Hernández, was the winner in the ORC B classification and in the absolute, which makes him worthy of taking the sculpture trophy in property, which must be won three years in a row or five alternates.
The first boat to arrive in Arrecife was the “Sorcery” which did so at 07:10:21 this Sunday, almost three hours later the “Salitre” by Felipe Brito did so at 10:00:35. The “Muyay” that would be the winner after the compensation of times crossed the finish line at the commercial dock of Arrecife at 10:14:40.

After the compensation of times, “Muyay” won in ORC B and absolute, “Sorcery” was awarded the ORC A category. Second were “Salitre” in ORC A and Alpispa 2 in ORC B, in this group the third place was for “Altamar1 “
At the awards ceremony, the prizes were distributed to the first three classified in ORC B and to the first two in ORC A. The red lantern was for “Bicho Ruín” and Antonio Hernández, skipper of the “Sorcery” received a plaque as a reminder of the record established 38 years later.
The awards ceremony closed with the presentation of the sculpture trophy for “Muyay” as winner of the last three editions in 2018, 2019 and 2021 (in 2020 it was not held due to the pandemic).
