The MT Dance school celebrated last Sunday, July 12, its anticipated 10th Anniversary Gala at the San Bartolomé Theater. The event was a resounding success with critics and the public, consolidating the academy as an undisputed artistic benchmark after a decade of dedication, passion, and training on stage.
The evening, which kept the audience captivated from beginning to end, offered a display of incredible performances where the students and professionals of MT Dance demonstrated the high technical level and artistic sensitivity that characterize the school. Through carefully crafted choreographies that spanned different musical styles, attendees were able to relive the essence and evolution of these ten years of history.
Recognitions, art, and great surprises on stage
The tenth anniversary was marked by complicity and deep recognition of the academy's collective effort. One of the most significant moments of the night was the awards ceremony, where the dedication of each member was valued: all the students of the school were honored with diplomas and commemorative medals for their participation in this very special year. Likewise, loyalty and perseverance took center stage with the presentation of a special trophy to those students who have been growing and training at the school for years.
The emotion continued with speeches given by the students themselves, who took the floor to express their gratitude and highlight the positive impact MT Dance has had on their lives. The night was also full of unexpected twists and magical moments, such as several surprise performances that left the audience speechless. Among them, the appearance on stage of one of their students singing with some female students and later with the artist Daniel Moisés, whose performance singing "My Way" praised the figure of Tatiana Niz in island culture, stood out. Furthermore, the tribute to the school's direction was materialized artistically with the presentation of an exclusive painting, created especially for the occasion by the artist Iván T.
Unanimous recognition for Tatiana Niz
To all this intensity was added the screening of several commemorative videos. Colleagues and prominent personalities from the world of entertainment and national and regional television wanted to be present at this very special anniversary. Names as recognized as the iconic Teresa Rabal and the popular presenters Roberto Kamphoff and Roberto Herrera sent affectionate messages in which they praised the figure of Tatiana Niz. All of them agreed in highlighting her impeccable work as a teacher, her brilliance as a dancer, and her tireless commitment to the promotion of dance and culture throughout all these years.
At the end of the meeting, a visibly moved Tatiana Niz thanked the unconditional support of the families, the daily effort of her students, and the affection of an audience that, one more year, supported the school on its most important night. With this resounding success, MT Dance closes a golden decade and kicks off the coming years of rhythm, art, and training.
