Sustainability and respect for the environment
Sport is a tool for disseminating sustainability and the defense and respect of the environment. To this end, all participants are offered recommendations in this area, they are encouraged to bring their own silicone cups, in order to reduce cups and plastic bottles in the event. In addition, the organization urges runners to carry their products wrapped in paper or cloth and to travel by public transport.
As for the shirts designed by the organization, these are made with recycled and sustainable materials and a waste collection and selective recycling system has been planned specifically for the day of the race.
On the other hand, the initiative also bets on the economy and local talent and a collection of exclusive sustainable accessories has been created, designed by FTVStudio, which, in the case of Lanzarote, has created a very special fanny pack.
