The Haría City Council concludes the second edition of the Haría Street Football 2025 tournament. The event, which was held between July 11 and 19, at the Ladislao Rodríguez Bonilla Municipal Football Field, brought together 220 players distributed in more than 23 teams from the different municipalities of the island.
This initiative, which also had the collaboration of the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote, was structured in several categories with the aim of promoting the participation of people of different ages and levels.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, valued the continuity of the tournament as a commitment to local sports and youth participation. "This type of proposal contributes to strengthening the social fabric of the municipality and consolidating active living habits among the population," he stressed. For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León, pointed out that this inclusive tournament had mixed teams "which allowed for greater diversity in the course of the competition."
The councilor also highlighted the "joint work of the technical staff, volunteers and collaborating entities in the logistical and sporting development of the event."
Regarding the results of the tournament, the Golden State team took first place, obtaining a prize of 300 euros, followed by Al Trote Qatar Airways, which took second place and a prize of 200 euros, and the Guatiza Team, which completed the podium in third position with a prize of 100 euros.
During the days of competition, there was a high attendance of public who also participated in the complementary activities programmed.
