Magec Tías Against Gender Violence will continue for another season in the Women's League 2, after mathematically sealing their permanence in the national category on Saturday night with two days to spare. The red-and-black team played a great game against Hierros Díaz Miralvalle, having a 20-point advantage in the final minutes of the second quarter. The Cáceres team reacted in the second half, not giving Magec Tías options to come back and adding the ninth victory of the season.
Magec Tías Against Gender Violence took the initiative of the match from the beginning, especially dominating the inside game and closing the rebound in defense and attack. In the first four minutes, 8 points from Yaiza García and a basket from Joana Ferreira put the score at 10 to 5. An advantage that continued to grow with the two free throws scored by Ana Fernández and the triple converted by the Portuguese Joana Ferreira (15-5).

Magec Tías was enjoying themselves on the court, with Verónica Matoso assisting Yaiza García to make it 17 to 5, forcing the Miralvalle coach to ask for a time-out. After the instructions from the bench, the visitors intensified their defense and forced the locals to shoot from the outside. Hierros Díaz Miralvalle changed its defense at the beginning of the second half, pressing on the entire court and trying to prevent the circulation of the locals. In addition, the Cáceres team made three consecutive triples, which forced Jesús García to request a time-out (46-35). The advantage that at the end of the second quarter had reached almost 20 points, was soon reduced when Maira Harford scored a new triple (45-38). Magec Tías did not fall apart and the match entered a phase of exchange of baskets, with Marta Pérez scoring a triple and reaching the end of the third quarter with the result of 57 to 46.
