Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" appeared in Pamplona to face Osés Construcción Ardoi with doubts about Carolina Mateo and Yaiza García, being able to count only on the first one. The captain, on whom the team's inside game pivots, was unable to recover from the injury sustained in the last league game.
Aday Villalba and his players knew the difficulty of the rival and did everything possible to avoid defeat against one of the teams fighting for promotion.
Despite a 9-0 run, which put the score at 13-4, the islanders were able to react, so as not to leave the game, ending the first quarter with the score of 17-12. The Lanzarote game revolved around the Finnish Helmi Tulonen, but it was not enough to face the Navarre team, which at halftime already managed to put land in between, with the score of 32-19, with 13 points of advantage for the peninsulars.
In the second half, the game became somewhat more difficult, with many mistakes and low scores. Only in the last stages of the third quarter, points were seen again in the Municipal Pavilion of Zizur Mayor, concluding the partial 45 to 28.
The Lanzarote team did not give up and despite the difference in the score never lost the illusion of turning around a match that had become very complicated. A partial of 0 to 8 made the Tías team still believe in the miracle, forcing the Navarre team to make a final effort to avoid it.
The final result of the match was 68 to 40, with Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" returning to Lanzarote empty-handed, already thinking about the next match, which will pit them next Saturday at home against Picken Claret, a direct rival to avoid relegation, which has three more victories than the Lanzarote team.
