Karateka Caleb Padrón Alonso, from Karate Poliarrecife, has qualified for the Grand Final of the National Karate League, which will be held in Pontevedra next December.
The young karateka from the Karate Poliarrecife Club obtained this past Saturday a seventh place in the day of the National Karate League that was held in Tarragona, in the Junior Male category of less than 42 kilograms, with which he achieves the mathematical classification for the Grand Final, to which the best eight in Spain of each category access during 2024. A result that has even more value as this is his first year in the category.
Very good performance by the Lanzarote karateka who advanced in the elimination round, winning his first two fights clearly by 3-0 and 4-0, and who fell in the quarterfinals by 0-6, not being able to reach the podium positions by falling in the repechage by a tight 1-2, but which earned him seventh place on this day and qualification for the LNK Final.
With this result, the two karatekas from the Karate Poliarrecife Club who have participated in the LNK during 2024, Caleb Padrón and Amelie Skiba, will be in the Grand Final that will be held in Pontevedra from December 13 to 15. Without a doubt, a magnificent result for the Arrecife Club.
