A referee under the age of 18 has received several insults after finishing refereeing a soccer match between children in Teguise. Specifically, the events took place last Saturday, May 4 at 9:30 in the morning, at the Costa Teguise municipal field.
The Preferential League match in the Alevín category, with players between 10 and 11 years old, was between the clubs of Palmeiros de Costa Teguise A. U.D. and Tinajo A C.D.

There were eight minors playing for each team and six substitutes between the two clubs. In addition, the referee had cautioned two players from Tinajo A C.D. for tripping an opponent "in a reckless manner" and another for "arguing" with an opponent "without resorting to insults or threats."
