The Ayuntamiento de Haría will install a 5x3 meter LED screen on the esplanade of La Garita beach so that citizens can follow live the final of the World Cup that the Spanish National Team will play against Argentina next Sunday, July 19.
The broadcast of the match will begin at 8:00 p.m. and access will be free until full capacity is reached. With this initiative, the council wants to offer a meeting space so that neighbors and visitors can share the atmosphere and excitement of a sporting event of great relevance.
The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, highlights that "the World Cup final is an event that arouses enormous excitement and we want the entire population to have the opportunity to experience it collectively, in such a special setting as La Garita beach."
Likewise, the first councilman points out that "sport has the capacity to unite people and to create moments of coexistence." "From the Ayuntamiento we want to contribute so that Haría enjoys this day in a festive, safe environment designed for all ages," he indicates.
The installation of this screen will allow enjoying the match in an open and accessible space, encouraging families, groups of friends, and fans to share a day marked by sport and the feeling of support for the Spanish national team.
The council invites all citizens to come to the esplanade of La Garita beach to support the Spanish National Team and enjoy an afternoon of sport and togetherness.
