The San Bartolomé Wrestling Club celebrated the presentation of all its wrestlers and categories this Friday, from the youngest to the seniors. José J. Hernández, on behalf of the club, expressed his gratitude to all the collaborators and sponsors.
The club has approximately 40 children distributed in the categories of Prebenjamines, Benjamines, Alevines, Infantiles, Cadetes and Juveniles. In addition, the senior second category team is made up of outstanding wrestlers such as Agustín González (Pollo de la Candelaria), Rayco García, José A. Elvira and Ángel Andrés Luis. In total, the senior team has 17 wrestlers.
The technical team includes Roberto Berriel (Comandante III) as commander of the seniors and youth, Veneraldo Perera for the children and cadets, and Samuel Berriel as monitor of the wrestling schools for the prebenjamines, benjamines and alevines.
Preseason Fight
The presentation fight was dynamic and spectacular, despite being in preseason. The San Bartolomé Wrestling Club faced Saladar de Jandía, achieving a victory with a score of 12 to 9. The most outstanding wrestlers were Rayco García and Cristo Betancort, who reinforced the team due to the absence of Agustín González due to pneumonia.
Awards and Recognitions
Before the fight, plaques and awards were given to the most outstanding fighters. Rayco García was recognized as the most spectacular fighter and champion of the fight, while Saladar de Jandía took the title of runner-up.
This event not only marked the beginning of the season for the San Bartolomé Wrestling Club, but also highlighted the commitment and passion of all its members and collaborators.
