The Basilio Labrador Pavilion in Los Realejos hosted the XXIV Villa de Los Realejos Championship on May 17 —for youth, cadet, junior and sub21 categories— and the II Regional Veterans Championship, organized by the Canary Islands Karate Federation.
The Poliarrecife Karate Club participated with two representatives who achieved an outstanding result: three medals in three events.
Amelie Skiba won gold in the Junior Female Kumite Open category, winning all her fights. For his part, Abdalla Eljaafari signed a double feat: gold in Men's Kumite Veterans I and II, and silver in Men's Kata Veterans I. An impeccable performance that confirms the high level of karate in Lanzarote.
