Magec Tías Lanzarote Contra la Violencia de Género could not secure another victory in the Liga Femenina 2 and fell 50-71 to Cesur Distrito Olímpico. Numerous absences due to injury marked the match, forcing the team led by Màrius Bonjorn to rely on players from youth categories to complete the roster.

To the absences of Joana Ferreira, Yaiza García, and Carolina Mateo, the effort of Noelia Lago, who played with an ankle sprain, and the injury of Evangelia Davlakou during the first quarter were added. Faced with this situation, Marina Melián, Nayala González, Inés Báez, and Maya Gal, from the junior team, took on responsibilities and responded with a notable competitive attitude.

The match began with an intense and accurate Magec Tías Lanzarote, capable of taking a five-point lead and closing the first quarter ahead, 21-18. The contribution of Nayala González, who scored a three-pointer after coming on as a substitute for Davlakou, allowed the home team to maintain their rhythm despite the setbacks.

In the second period, Cesur Distrito Olímpico improved their offensive performance and managed to turn the score around. However, the red-and-blacks reacted in the final minutes to reach halftime with a minimal disadvantage, 32-35.

After the break, the Madrid team took advantage of the home team's scoring difficulties to break the game open. Magec Tías Lanzarote found no offensive solutions and entered the final quarter with a score of 36-51. Despite attempts to react, the opponent extended their lead to close the game with a final score of 50-71.

The Lanzarote team once again showed its competitive character in especially difficult circumstances, although it could not avoid defeat. Now, the team will focus its efforts on the recovery of the injured players and on preparing for its next commitment, in which it will visit Hierros Díaz Extremadura Miralvalle in Plasencia.

The Extremaduran team arrives at the match after losing 59-53 to CB Las Rozas and, like Magec Tías, has a record of one win and two losses at the start of the season.
