Brooklyn Fitboxing Lanzarote celebrates its first year since its opening on the island, establishing itself as an alternative training space that has captured the attention of those seeking a different and dynamic way to get in shape. Currently, the club has more than 300 members, a figure that reflects the good reception of the method among residents and visitors.

Arriving in Lanzarote as part of a franchise with an international presence in 10 countries, the club has maintained a constant growth trajectory over these twelve months. Its proposal, which combines physical exercise with the energy of musical rhythm and the use of technology to measure performance, has managed to differentiate itself from conventional training models. Throughout this first year, the center has become a meeting point for people who want to train in a close, motivating environment with a playful component that transforms effort into experience.

For Mercedes Pérez Medina, franchise leader of Brooklyn Fitboxing, this anniversary is a milestone full of hope: “when we opened a year ago, we did it with desire and a lot of excitement, but seeing what we have built today together with our fitboxers is really special. Already having more than 300 members confirms that the island was ready for a different training concept, one that challenges you, hooks you, and makes you enjoy it. The best thing of all has been seeing how a community has been created: people who start by trying a class and end up finding their moment of the day, their space, and their people here. We are very grateful and eager to continue growing.”

Furthermore, beyond training and community, Brooklyn Fitboxing is committed to solidarity as a central focus of its activity. Through its global initiative, Hit4Change Foundation, each punch, each megajoule of energy accumulated in the bags, and each challenge overcome are converted into donations for causes such as health, education, and the environment. Along these lines, the club participates in global campaigns ranging from aid after natural disasters to breast cancer research—for example, through the sale of solidarity products in the "Pink Fighters" campaign in October, a percentage of which is donated to research projects on this disease. In Lanzarote, this solidarity aspect means that members not only train for themselves, but their efforts also contribute to social causes that affect the entire community.

To mark the anniversary, **the club organized a celebration with its members last Friday**. A memorable afternoon in which, unlike what usually happens, the guests didn't hit the bag but toasted to many more years of Brooklyn Fitboxing Lanzarote.
