The Magec Tías Sports Club "Against Gender Violence" continues working on the preparation of the squad that will debut at the end of September in the Women's League 2. The Lanzarote team has signed with the American point guard Keira Robinson (12/20/1994), being the third signing confirmed by CD Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" for the new season.

After studying the different options, the club chaired by Leocadio Pérez has decided to acquire the services of the player from Columbia, coming from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she has been playing for the last 4 years. "Playing for Magec Tías is a great opportunity for me," commented the player, already from the Lanzarote team, from the United States, where she is finalizing preparations before traveling to the island.

Keira Robinson defines herself as "a team player, with leadership and initiative, both on and off the court." She hopes that this commitment to play in Spain "will be a good opportunity to exploit my skills and make the team better."

The point guard, raised in Keenan High School, has played 125 league games in the last four years at Virginia Commonwealth University, of which she started 123, scoring a total of 1,112 points. Last season she played the entire season as a starter, having a success rate of 36'3% in 2-point shots, 30'4% in 3-pointers and 80% in free throws.

Her spectacular numbers in the last four seasons make Keira Robinson one of the best players in the history of Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the second player to reach 1,000 points, 400 assists and 200 steals.

Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" continues to move to complete a squad as competitive as possible and have the 'gear adjusted' for the match that will be played on September 30 against Centro Único Real Canoe. The signing of Keira Robinson joins the additions of Lanzarote natives Sara Duarte and Carla Medina.
